Yes, Camofill has been tested and shown to be Non-Toxic.  Camofill testing also shows that it is exempt from Californias Prop 65 requirements.

Camofill will work on all different kinds of turf.  Camofill can be used on traditional backyards, sports fields, putting greens, commercial landscape applications or wherever turf needs infill.

There are too many factors involved to give you a specific answer.  The different turfs have different pile heights, amount of thatch yarn used etc.  Putting greens will desire a much firmer feel requiring more infill than other turfs.  We recommend you always check with the manufacturer for their recommendations and work with your installer to get right amount based on your application.
